Datacolor Unites Digital Imaging and Home Theater Products Under One Brand

Color management technology leader leverages brand leadership to simplify communication to all customers

January 17, 2008 —Datacolor, a global leader in digital color management technology, today announced that starting in January, there will be a branding change from “Datacolor ColorVision” to Datacolor.

In coordination with the launch of a new line of Spyder family products, Datacolor’s digital imaging product line will now be solely branded as Datacolor. Previously, ColorVision, a division of Datacolor since 2000, incorporated dual branding (inclusion of both Datacolor ColorVision) on its product packaging and materials. This change will unify all products and services under one brand, which will include sole use of the Datacolor brand on digital imaging and home theater product packaging and promotional materials, and all product information will now be found at the Datacolor website (

This branding change has no effect on the organizational structure and is meant to simplify product branding. Datacolor will continue to provide the highest quality color management technology products to its current and future customers with the same focus and commitment.
