Official Worldwide Launch of Datacolor SpyderLensCal™ DSLR Lens Calibration Solution

Lawrenceville, NJ and Photokina (Hall 4.1, Booth E010/F019) – September 9, 2010 – Datacolor® (, a global leader in color management solutions, announced today it will be offering free calibration services at Photokina 2010 using its complete line of Spyder3 monitor calibration products and the SpyderLensCal, a new DSLR lens calibration device that will be officially introduced at the fair.

Demonstrating its Spyder3Elite™, Spyder3Pro™, and Spyder3Express™, Datacolor invites photographers to visit the Datacolor booth and experience a new level of precision calibration for their laptop monitors and DSLR lenses. Photographers will get the first look at the latest in calibration technology at Photokina, which serves as Datacolor’s official unveiling of the SpyderLensCal, the latest addition to the award-winning Spyder line. Offering calibration of lenses and autofocus functions on modern DSLR camera bodies, the SpyderLensCal will be unveiled on September 22 at 10:00 AM at Datacolor’s booth.

Those looking for color management advice will benefit from Datacolor’s ProStation at Photokina where color experts will be on-hand for consultation. Special guest and professional photographer Rolf Nachbar, along with Adobe® trainer Maike Jarzetz, will be available to share their knowledge on image composition and editing. Datacolor will also be holding presentations on digital workflow and demonstrating the entire Spyder collection of calibration products to show effective color management from image capture to print.
