An exciting new add-on is available to users of Datacolor PAINT™ and Datacolor SELECT2™ who have Datacolor COORDINATE™.
Datacolor COORDINATE™ allows users to generate actual color schemes based on the concepts of interior design and its unique True Color Scheme technology. Using a customer's original sample or color selected from the formula book, Datacolor COORDINATE™ will generate attractive color schemes based on the individual consumer's needs and taste.
There are many schemes a user can choose from, depending on the desired effect. By facilitating the selection of color schemes the consumer will be more likely to buy additional paint and materials for things like accents and trim.
Datacolor DECORATE™ software allows customers to visualize the results of these various color schemes using actual digital pictures which are recolored to the consumer's preference. Both interior and exterior real life setting pictures are available, or the consumer may import their own. Then, with the easy to use paint tools, the customer may recolor the image to visualize the results they are trying to achieve.
Datacolor has done much to address issues that many preceding stand alone programs faced. The first key element is the interface between the two features. Now, instead of the customer being presented with the full palette of a manufacturer's colors or an irrelevant artistic relation of several colors and no guidance, the customer has pregenerated color schemes from the Datacolor COORDINATE™ to guide them in color selection. Thus, instead of a hopeless search for the right color ending with orange walls and a lime green carpet, the customer can immediately paint an attractive color scheme generated by Datacolor COORDINATE™ on a picture in Datacolor DECORATE™ and have a quick visual impression of the results.
Further, the two packages' integration with the Datacolor Spyder2® allows the colors displayed on screen to be accurate. This allows the visualization to be more true and prevents customers from choosing an on-screen color that your paint cannot reproduce, avoiding putting your employees in an awkward situation with your customers.
