Keeping color consistent throughout the dying process can be difficult..
Continuous dying methods often leave the dyed fabric different from the center to the sides or from one end to the other. Datacolor MONITOR™ software takes measurements after the dying process is over to check for variation in color. After the measurements are complete, it generates a report to show if there is any deviance from the original color. Datacolor MONITOR™ allows the dyers to know exactly where on the roll the color is off, giving them the option to cut lots into rolls to ensure the color of one lot is exactly the same throughout.
