The multi-award winning Spyder X2 Elite with its new intuitive software interface is ideal for dedicated photographers creating fine art prints at home. The monitor should be the mirror image of the printed image and so needs to be adjusted to match your printer exactly in terms of brightness and color. The Spyder X2 Elite is the first choice for this, as it offers a soft proof function in addition to its comprehensive monitor calibration features.
The Spyder Print, in turn, is the link between the monitor and the printer. Every printer/paper/ink combination is different. Therefore, as a dedicated home printer, you are faced with the choice of either finding the best combination through trial & error and considerable spendings of material and money or optimizing the workflow to the point by measuring and creating an ICC profile.
