I bought my first camera in 1986.
\nWhen I still lived at home, I was usually the family photographer.<\/p>\n

Is photography your hobby or your profession?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Photography is my hobby, but a very passionate one.<\/p>\n

Tell us about the image you entered in the contest. What\u2019s the story behind it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every week I search the internet for new photo contests and that\u2019s how I came across this one.
\nThe picture I submitted shows the acrobatic gymnast, Lieke, performing during a photo shoot at the modern train station in Li\u00e8ge, Belgium.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”15240″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”15224″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]Who and\/or what inspires you most?<\/strong><\/p>\n

People inspire me most, in all aspects \u2013 sports, travel, modeling. They are the main theme of my work.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your photographic focus?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Action during a photo session is important to me and the satisfaction that comes with capturing that perfect image at just the right moment is always exciting.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t really have a set goal \u2013 I just enjoy the challenge of finding my next shot and having that be one that another photographer might not have taken.<\/p>\n

Do you include color management in your photographic workflow?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Besides the overall visual composition, every element of the image, including color, is also important. Beautiful colors make your photos more interesting.<\/p>\n

What do you do with your photos? Do you print them, post them on your social media accounts or your website or do they simply stay on your hard drive?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t really have a specific photographic goal.
