I took photos every now and then when I was younger, without any particular focus or goal in mind. After many years, I rediscovered photography at the beginning of 2023.<\/p>\n

Is photography your hobby or your profession?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Photography is a hobby for me[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”41140″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Where and how was the image you entered in the competition taken? Is there a story about it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The photo was taken at the train station Zoologischer Garten, in Berlin. I saw this seemingly exhausted\/desperate person and photographed him. It was only later, when I took another look at the photo, that I noticed the advertisement in the background with the child. The visual contrast, created by chance, is illustrated not only by the different emotions depicted by the individuals, but also by the disparity between reality (the person) and fiction (the billboard).[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”41150″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Who and\/or what inspires you most?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My photography is inspired by people – their faces, especially the lines and scars life has helped to shape on them.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your photographic focus?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to people, I like street photography and abandoned places. In these photographic genres, I also always look for the story the image can tell.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”41160″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]What\u2019s your next photo project, your next challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the near future, I would like to explore and photograph old factories in the area surrounding Berlin.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”41170″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]What do you do with your photos? Do you print them, post them on your social media accounts or your website or do they stay on your hard drive?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I take part in competitions with some of my pictures and share them with relevant groups on social media. I keep most of the pictures for myself and look at them again and again.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”41180″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]What\u2019s your photographic goal? What do you dream of?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don’t have any specific photographic goals.
