Jose Jeuland
José Jeuland is a visionary from Brittany, France, whose remarkable journey has taken him from the quiet countryside to the forefront of photography and visual storytelling. Today, he is the founder and creative director of COCO Creative Studio, a leading creative agency based in the dynamic city of Singapore.
Guided by creativity, ambition, and endurance, José’s early life in rural France fostered a deep appreciation for nature, exploration, and adventure. His energetic spirit and love for sports led him to become a professional triathlete by the age of 25. It was during his travels as an athlete that he discovered his true passion for photography.
In 2018, José founded COCO Creative Studio — a multidisciplinary creative hub specializing in commercial photography, videography, CGI, and 3D animation. Under his leadership, the studio has earned the trust of prominent brands and institutions, known for blending artistic vision with technical excellence across advertising, corporate, and editorial projects.
Expanding his creative pursuits, José also launched ZAZYLAND, a lifestyle brand that reflects his passion for craftsmanship and branding. Through it, he introduced Mystique Gin, a premium craft gin distilled in the UK and distributed from Singapore. With a refined identity, a globally inspired recipe, and a sophisticated brand story, Mystique Gin embodies José’s love for elegance, mystery, and wanderlust.
Looking ahead, José is preparing to open a new COCO Creative Studio branch in Paris. His entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to innovation, and commitment to storytelling continue to shape the future of commercial imagery and creative branding—solidifying his legacy as both an artist and a trailblazing entrepreneur.

What Datacolor color management tools are in your work bag/workspace and why?
Why is accurate color important within your workflow?
Accurate color is absolutely vital, especially in commercial work. Whether it’s a fashion brand, product shoot, or a corporate campaign, the final visuals must reflect brand guidelines and present products exactly as they are in real life. Slight color discrepancies can lead to misunderstandings or misrepresentation, so having control over color ensures both client satisfaction and artistic integrity.
Who and/or what inspires you most?
I find inspiration in many places, from classic photography books and editorial magazines to cinema and everyday moments. I’m particularly drawn to how light, mood, and composition are used in film and photography to evoke emotion. I’m constantly studying visual language, how certain angles, tones, or frames can shift a viewer’s perception or make a message more powerful. That daily exposure to great visual work pushes me to refine my own.
What was the key factor that made you decide to use color management?
The decision came from a need for reliability and consistency. I wanted to be confident that the final output, whether viewed online, in print, or on a client’s monitor, would match what I originally envisioned. Color management gave me that control. It’s about trust, not just in the tools but in the process, knowing that what I deliver is precisely what I intended.
What’s your biggest challenge at work these days?
What’s your objective when you create something?
My main goal is to create work that’s not only visually compelling but also meaningful and effective. It has to serve the client’s purpose, engage the audience, and carry an emotional or visual impact. I strive to find that sweet spot between artistic expression and strategic intent so that the result performs both creatively and commercially.
Best bit of advice you ever got?
Do what you love and do it consistently. Passion and persistence make all the difference, especially in creative fields.
