Alexia Hurier
Alexia Hurier / Créavision is a self-made French videographer. She learned mostly through experiences and Youtube videos. It’s a lot of trying and failing, she said.
Years ago, when she started, Alexia used to analyze all her favorite movies to try to understand how the shots were made. Then she moved to Japan for a while and had the chance to learn with a small production back when she was living in Tokyo.
Years ago, when she started, Alexia used to analyze all her favorite movies to try to understand how the shots were made. Then she moved to Japan for a while and had the chance to learn with a small production back when she was living in Tokyo.
Alexia used to film behind the scenes, and that’s how she really started. What Alexia likes about videography is meeting new people, trying new ways to tell their story, and playing with light and colors.
Successful video is more than just beautiful images. It’s about transporting the viewer into a story, creating empathy and emotions. It’s about creating a real, sincere connection with your audience. And that all comes through the choice of composition, lighting, movement… always in service of the narrative.
