New Checkr-Matte Printing Method
One of the features that distinguishes Spyder Checkr Photo is the method in which we create our color target cards. Datacolor’s new process combines color-fast inks with museum quality paper stock to deliver exceptionally rich, ultra-matte colors and the deepest black for outstandingly accurate and true color calibration that will stand the test of time.

Master Match Software by Picture Instruments (Europe only):
Datacolor’s Spyder Checkr, Spyder Checkr 24 and Spyder Checkr Photo color reference charts are integrated into Picture Instruments’ MASTER MATCH software, which can be used to color-correct or match images using a reference chart, or to edit based on before and after images. This is possible for photos, as well as for video material and 3D content. 3D-LUTs and ICC profiles for absolute flexibility. All color corrections can be exported in 3D LUT formats and as ICC profiles to be applied to various photo and video applications. Datacolor is offering a voucher code to save up to 40% on MASTER MATCH software. The voucher code will be send as part of the Spyder Checkr software installation routine via email.

How It Works
Step One:
Using your camera’s RAW format, take a reference shot of the color target cards in the lighting/setting of your photo shoot.
Step Two:
Then import your reference shot into your photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Camera RAW, or Hasselblad Phocus.
Step Three:
Use your Spyder Checkr software to create an HSL preset from your edited reference shot to use for your shoot and across multiple camera systems.
